UNITED and TAM Linhas Aereas on 10OCT07 jointly submitted an application for approval to codeshare, effective 14NOV07.
This covers flights between US and Brazil as well as domestic points in respective country.

NZ to codeshare on UNITED LAX-FRA
UNITED filed a notice on 10OCT07 that it plans to display Air New Zealand’s “NZ” code on its Los Angeles – Frankfurt flight, which will be launched on 15DEC07.
Haneda – Gimpo codeshare begins 28OCT07
The 4 carriers operating flights between Tokyo Haneda and Seoul Gimpo Airport has announced codeshare deal. JAL will codeshare with Korean Air and v.v. while ANA will codeshare with ASIANA and v.v.
ANA and ASIANA will place one of their own flight attendants to each other’s selected flights on this route.

KLM-COPA signs codeshare deal
KLM and COPA Airlines today signed a codeshare deal, which will goes into effect from 30MAR08, coinciding with the Dutch carrier’s return to Panama City.

Dragonair launch charter to Taichung
Dragonair will launch 4 weekly Hong Kong – Taichung as scheduled charter effective 28OCT07. This is subject to government approval.

Taichung is Dragonair’s 3rd destination in Taiwan.
Taiwan signs bilateral with Czech
There will be 14 weekly frequencies available for passenger flights and unlimited Cargo frequencies. 5th freedom rights is also granted for flights to Czech Republic.
China Airlines initially will first codeshare with CSA Czech Airlines, then considering launching own service to Prague.
EVA Air says it is also considering operating Prague service given 5th freedom rights is available for use.
