SIA A380: Tokyo by May 2008
The A380 will be designated to operate SQ220/221 (Singapore – Sydney) throughout the Northern Winter 2007 Timetable as it is preparing for the world’s inaugural commercial service on 25OCT07, dubbed SQ380.
BA "Project Lauren"
A mystery ad on Flight International magazine’s job section (09OCT-15OCT07), named under “Project Lauren: seeking Boeing 757/767 pilot”.
According to the “Unusual Attitude” on Flight International, it has been confirmed as British Airways, which has received approval to operate flights between any points in the European Union countries and the US.
Uzbekistan drops Jeddah service
Uzbekistan Airways on 16OCT07 is operating last flight on the Tashkent – Jeddah route.
This route is 2 weekly plus extra flights in September/October onboard 757/767.
Another new Shandong Air route
Shandong Airlines will launch 3 weekly Hangzhou – Yantai – Tianjin flight from 28OCT07. Air China will codeshare on the new service.

EVA Cargo to Houston and Frankfurt
EVA Air Cargo announced it’ll begin 2 weekly service to Houston, and resume 2 weekly Frankfurt flight, in cooperation with Lufthansa Cargo.
The launch of Houston brings number of weekly flights to North America to 35 for cargo services, including Los Angeles, New York, Dallas, Chicago and Atlanta.
With the resumption of 2 weekly Frankfurt cargo service, number of weekly flights to Europe for all-cargo flight will rise from 7 to 8 weekly.
