Air France/DELTA signs joint-venture deal; DELTA to Orly and Heathrow
The First phase, will cover, all nonstop flights operated by Air France and DELTA between the Paris CDG, Paris Orly, Lyon hubs, as well as Atlanta, New York JFK, Cincinnati and Salt Lake City. This covers 19 daily flights, over 4500 seats of capacity.
By 2010, this will covers to all Trans-Atlantic service operated by the two carriers, as well as Air France’s Los Angeles – Papeete route.

Air France in return will launch London Heathrow – Los Angeles route as part of the first phase deal. DELTA’s slots in Heathrow is being transferred from Air France, which will give 4 of 12 daily slots at Heathrow, and may give up the 5th when necessary.
