QANTAS to Vancouver: No returning
QANTAS will be operating last seasonal flight to Vancouver at the end of January 2008.
The airline appears to be not making a return in Northern Summer season in 2008.
Air Canada to Caracas "returns"
Air Canada’s Toronto – Caracas flight is being put back to the reservation system for Spring 2008. However, the flight number remains in the South American flight category.
UNITED new codesharie flight number range
UNITED has updated flight number range for its codeshare flight, which includes new, but not yet implemented ones.
The new ones are:
UA3940 – 4299 Aloha Airlines (already in effect)
UA4700 – 4749 QATAR (from 07NOV07)
UA9435 – 9464 AirOne
UA9780 – 9864 TAM
UA4900 – 4963 will not be used from 01FEB08, this is currently used for Aloha Airlines operating flight.
UNITED expands codeshare on Aloha
UNITED has expanded its codeshare agreement with Aloha, covers all flights operated by the latter, including Trans-Pacific flight. This took place around September/October 2007.

EVA Air scoops all new Japan flights and beyond
Taiwan and Japan has finalized the newly revised bilateral deal. Taiwanese carriers will be able to fly to Miyazaki and Komatsu on scheduled basis, 4 weekly each, plus full 5th freedom rights from Osaka to either Seattle or Los Angeles, 6-8 weekly.
EVA Air scooped all the rights as China Airlines suffered a fiery loss of 737-800 in Okinawa in August. As per rule, China Airlines will not be able to receive or apply rights for new service for 12 months unless other competitor didn’t submit application.
EVA Air plans to launch Taipei – Miyazaki, Taipei – Komatsu. It’ll also extend Osaka route to Los Angeles. China Airlines will be forced to give up Miyazaki charter flights once a charter destination being converted to scheduled service.
TAAG new service to Bangui
TAAG will extend its Luanda – Pointe Noire – Brazzaville route to Bangui, effective 10NOV07.
The flight will be twice a week on 737-700 (C12Y108)

Air Seychelles to start Bangkok service; shuffles SIN
Air Seychelles will start 2 new weekly flights to Bangkok from 17DEC07 onboard 767-300 (Y87H135). The new route will be a triangle flight involving Singapore (767-300: J24Y215) on 1 of 2 weekly flights, which means operation to Singapore will be reshuffled.
