Deccan applies US service
Deccan Aviation d/b/a Air Deccan, has filed application to DoT for request for permission to operate service to US by April 2008, and also request to place Kingfisher’s “IT” code on its flight.
Kingfisher will dry-lease A340-500 and other long-haul aircraft to Deccan.
UNITED postpone Guangzhou launch to Jul 08
UNITED has filed a request to DoT for permission to push back its launch date for San Francisco – Guangzhou from 25MAR08 to 30JUN08. It claims other airlines did not object the request.
Originally the DoT grants the airline with this route, and requires this to be operated by 25MAR08, or UNITED will lose the authority.
