Continental suspends Nagoya – Honolulu
Continental will suspend daily Nagoya – Honolulu effective 01APR08, citing the higher airport landing fee and operational cost.
The landing fee at Chubu Airport is 50% higher than Komaki Airport, which used to handle international traffic. Passenger demand only increased by 40000 although the capacity overall was increased by 120000.
