Alaska launch new high-frequency Seattle – California flight

Alaska Airlines today announced a revamped schedule between Seattle and California, which goes into effect on 27APR08.

Effective 27APR08, Alaska will offer:
*15 Daily round-trip flights on Seattle – Los Angeles
From Seattle, flight leaves every hour on top of the hour from 0600 to 2100 (no 2000 departure). From Los Angeles, flight leaves every hour at the bottom of the hour from 0630 to 2200 (no 1930 departure, 2230 departure moves to 2200)

*7 Daily round-trip flights on Seattle – Oakland
From Seattle, flight leaves every 2 hours at the bottom of the odd hours between 0730 and 1945
From Oakland, flight leaves every 2 hours at the bottom of even hours between 0630 and 1830

*9 Daily round-trip flights on Seattle – Orange County
Flight departs Seattle at the bottom of the hour for average 1-2 hour interval
Flight departs Orange County on top of the hour for average 1-2 hour interval

*7 Daily round-trip flights every 2 hours on Seattle – San Diego
Flight departs Seattle on top of the hour
Flight departs San Diego at the bottom of the hour

*8 Daily round-trip flights every 2 hours on Seattle – San Francisco
Flight departs Seattle at the bottom of even hours
Flight departs San Francisco at the bottom of odd hours

*7 Daily round-trip flights every 2 hours in average on Seattle – San Jose

As a result of the adjustment, Alaska will cease Oakland – Orange County flight from 01APR08, and Seattle – Reno route will be operated by Horizon only.
