Air New Zealand reportedly will cancel its 3 weekly Nadi – Los Angeles route effective 26APR08.

Air France and DELTA today submitted a notice which the former will codeshare on the latter’s seasonal Atlanta – Edinburgh service.
SIA/MAS to codeshare on Singapore – Kuala Lumpur route
Singapore Airlines and Malaysia Airlines effective 28JAN08 will begin codesharing on the Singapore – Kuala Lumpur trunk routes.
The two carriers in total operates 13 daily round-trip service on this route.
Spanair boosts Ibiza & Menorca service in Summer 2008
Spanair will be boosting flights to/from Ibiza as well as Mahon/Menorca during Summer 2008.
There will be an increase of 13% overall to Ibiza in terms of frequencies. On Ibiza – Madrid, frequency will increase 20% while Barcelona route increases 6%.
Flights to/from Menorca overall will increase by 8%. Menorca – Madrid will increase by 15% and Menorca – Barcelona sees 4% increase.
US Airways adds 3 Gulf Coast cities from Charlotte
US Airways will launch 3 new domestic service out of its Charlotte hub to Gulf Coast Cities.

Korean Air to Buenos Aires via Codeshare
Korean Air and DELTA has submitted a notice that DELTA intends to display Korean Air’s “KE” code on flights to Buenos Aires and Dayton OH. The latter will be operated by DELTA Connection – Atlantic Southeast Airlines.
The codeshare is to go into effect within 30 days.

ANA Unveils FY 2008 Operational Plan
FY2008 will be the 1st year of revised interim business plan for FY2008 to 2011, which the airline continues to pursue the goal of “Asia’s Number 1″, and creating operational value. By FY2010, it’ll be focusing on re-expansion of the Capital (Tokyo) region.
International Summary
With the “re-expansion” by 2010 in the capital region as foundation, the airline is gearing towards a “network carrier” business model.
*”Asian Gateway Proposal”
Part of the promotion by Japanese Government to develope Japan as Asian gateway, ANA will launch Daily Tokyo Haneda – Hong Kong from 01APR08. During the Beijing Olympics in August, it is planning to launch Tokyo Haneda – Beijing Nanyuan.
*Strengthening “Network carrier” business model
Effective 01APR08, Taipei service will be switched to ANA’s “NH” code, further strengthening its position to become a network carrier.
It is re-timing on selected flights and will also strengthen codeshare flights (including planned UNITED codeshare) , providing greater options.
*Expansion of Osaka Kansai service
Effective March, there will be increased frequency to Qingdao, and to Dalian from June. Each will receive daily flights.
For the first time, a 737-700 will be entering service to Hangzhou route
Domestic Summary
Domestic operation will be on path to reach the goal of “Stronger Operation”, accompanied by the establishment of “Simple Rotation”. It’ll be adjusting all types of fares being offered to make sure a healthy yield.

ANA is to hubbing certain aircrafts on selected routes and will operate as turnaround service to simplify the utilization of the aircraft of each routes, providing more options and convenience.

ANA will offer 1 Daily service each to Okinawa and Sapporo when the airport opens in March 2009
*High Quality service
Accelerating the upgrades of from “Super Seat Premium” to “Premium Class”, which will be introduced from 01APR08. It’ll be installing “Premium Class” or upgrading progressively with 777-200, 777-300, 737-700/-800, 767-300, 747-400.
Cargo Summary
Continuation of the “Third core business project” which leads to establishment of “Basic Cargo Network”. “Okinawa Hub” project will also be implemented.
