vivaAerobus gets 2 green lights for US operation
The Department of Transportation has granted Mexican low-cost carrier vivaAerobus to operate:
*Charter air transporation of persons, property, and mail from any point in the EU and any point in the US, including via intermediate points (Notice)
*Scheduled operation between Mexican points of Monterrey, Guadalajara, Puebla, Leon, Queretaro, and Cancun, on the one hand, and Austin, Texas. It also received rights to operate charter service between US and Mexico. (Notice)
Grand Star Cargo applies Tianjin – Frankfurt
Grandstar Cargo International Airlines has submitted application to the CAAC for approval to operate Tianjin – Frankfurt – Shanghai – Tianjin with 747-400 Freighter.
It plans to operate 4 weekly service as early as March.
Grandstar Cargo is a joint venture company of Sinoair, Korean Air, HANA and Shinnan. The airline is based in Tianjin.
Yangtze Express applies Irkutsk
Yangtze Express has submitted application for approval to operate 2 weekly B737 Freighter service between Beijing and Irkutsk.
The carrier hopes to begin the flight as early as March.
