China Airlines replace 343 with 333 to Tokyo

China Airlines’ service to Tokyo will be operated by A330-300 effective 30MAR08, except CI100/101, which will remains 747-400.

The A330-300 is also replacing 744 service on the Taipei – Tokyo – Honolulu route.

Last A340-300 service to Tokyo is currently showing the end of May.

New Japan-HK/Macau bilateral deal

Japan and Hong Kong as well as Macau each signed a revised bilateral deal.

There will be no restrictions for flights between Hong Kong and Japan, except Tokyo. Same applies towards Macau – Japan service.

Russian carrier VIM Airlines will begin 1 weekly 757 service between Ufa and Dushanbe in Tajikstan from 08FEB08.

Rossiya to Beijing with IL86 in Winter 2008/09

St. Petersburg-based carrier Rossiya plans to operate 1-stop service to Beijing when the 2008/09 Winter schedule begins.

The service will be operated by Ilyushin Il-86 with a technical stop in Novosibirsk.

QATAR 777-300ER in Winter 2008/09

QATAR is planning to operate 777-300ER on to the following route in Winter 2008/09.

*Washington DC
*Beijing
*London Heathrow (various flights)
*Mumbai
The service will reduce to 5 weekly between Oct and Dec 2008 and will be only operating 3 weekly from Jan 2009
*Shanghai, replacing 330 from Jan 2009.

QATAR 777-200LR to Jeddah

QATAR has loaded 777-200LR to its schedule. As per 31JAN08, the 77L will be flying to Jeddah, effective November 2008.

It’ll operate once a week flight on Day 1 from 03NOV08, and will be operating the 5 weekly service from 29DEC08.

Additional routes should be the loaded in the coming months.

Never-ending AC 777 HKG shuffle

As per latest schedule update, Air Canada 777-300ER service on the Vancouver – Hong Kong route will now operate in April, on alternating days along with A340-300.

However it is still on schedule to operate daily service on this route from 01OCT08.

Cathay Pacific 346 to Vancouver

Cathay Pacific will operate 3 weekly A340-600 service on the Hong Kong – Vancouver route as CX836/835 between 31MAR08 and 12MAY08.

The flight will operate on Day 134. The rest of the days is still operated with A340-300.

Meanwhile, London A340-600 service will operate on Day 1456 between 31MAR08 and 12MAY08 as CX257/256.
