UNCONFIRMED: SIA to cancel Taipei – Los Angeles
Singapore Airlines has Zero’d out the availability on the Taipei – Los Angeles route effecitve 01MAY08.
According to internal memo posted by the Star Alliance carrier to travel agencies in Taiwan, the airline has/is:
1)Zero’d out the availability from 01MAY08
2)studying the “possibility” to cancel the route

The availability is open once again. However, availability is only available up to 30SEP08. From 01JUL08, it appears that the route will go down to 3 weekly.
DELTA to add new Dominican Republic service
DELTA today announced from 20DEC08, it’ll launch new service on the Atlanta – Santiago (Dominican Republic) route with 737-800.

Air India 777-300ER to Los Angeles
Frankfurt Airport’s website currently showing Air India will operate Boeing 777-300ER on the Delhi – Frankfurt – Los Angeles route, effective 17MAY08.
This will replace 747-400COMBI which currently operates on this route.
Mumbai – Frankfurt continues to be operated with B747-400.
