DELTA axe NY – Lagos launch

Another casualty before official launch by DELTA is the New York JFK – Lagos route, which was planned for 2008/09 Winter launch.

This route along with Nairobi, supposed to be launched this summer.

Myanmar Airways Int’l cancel Bangkok/Kuala Lumpur

Myanmar Airways International once again cancelled service to Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur. The latest suspension is mainly due to aircraft leasing issues.

DELTA cancels Nairobi launch

Planned 2008/09 Winter launch of the New York JFK – Dakar – Nairobi by DELTA has been shelved.

The airline was supposed to launch this route in 2008 Summer season but was postponed to Winter.

Silverjet saved with new cash injection; new routes on the card

The remaining all-business class carrier between the UK and US market, Silverjet, has received fresh cash injection of USD100million.

This will also allow the premium carrier to plan routes between London Luton Airport and West Coast US, South Africa and India.
