ZOOM’s service to Fort Lauderdale is being unified to 1-stop operation. Previously the airline was planning 1 weekly nonstop from London and 1 weekly from London via Bermuda.

Air Berlin confirms China suspension; long-haul cuts
Air Berlin today officially announced the suspension of flights to China (Beijing and Shanghai) from 26OCT08. These flights were launched on 01MAY08.
This is part of the airlines’ efficiency program, which includes:
- Removal of 14 Long/mid-haul aircraft
- 4 A330 will be removed from long-haul service which 3 will be transferred to Nuremberg for mid-haul flight
- Dissolving the brand dba
- Total long-haul capacity will be reduced by 30%
The airline also announced the following suspension or frequency reductions:
- Suspension of Düsseldorf – New York for Winter
- Frequency reduction to Cape Town, Windhoek and Bangkok
- Suspension of service to Mauritius and Sri Lanka
However, there will be flight increases to the following destinations
- Miami
- Fort Myers
- Cancun
- Male
- Montego Bay
It will launch new service to the Azores
