THAI gradually increasing Chengdu service
THAI is currently operating 2 weekly on the Bangkok – Chengdu route (Day 37).
From July, 3rd weekly frequency will be operated on Day 5. From 29AUG08, service will return to 5 weekly (Day x16) as usual.
Air France resumes Morocco codeshare
Air France starting 01JUL08 resumes codesharing with Royal Air Maroc, but only covers Toulouse – Casablanca route.

AF suspends Saint Maarten short-haul service
Starting 08SEP08, Air France will cancel short-haul (intra-Caribbean) service to/from Saint Maarten.
The long-haul service to/from Paris will be maintained.
EVA LA flight back to 17 weekly from Dec
EVA Air’s 14 weekly Taipei – Los Angeles nonstop flight from 08SEP08 will be returning to 17 weekly from 11DEC08, in time for Christmas travel.
China Eastern new Zhanjiang – HK route
China Eastern starting 27JUN08 will operate 3 weekly Zhanjiang – Hong Kong with CRJ200.

SIA/Saudia signs Cooperation MoU
Singapore Airlines and Saudi Arabian Airlines on 19JUN08 signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for future development on the Singapore – Saudi Arabia flights.
The MoU covers
- Marketing cooperation (e.g. through-checks) for seamless travel
- Code-share arrangements
- Schedule coordination, aimed at improving connections for customers travelling beyond
- Frequent flyer programme cooperation
- Cargo facilitation
ANA/Turkish codeshare begins 01JUL08
ANA and Turkish Airlines’ codeshare service on the latter’s Istanbul – Tokyo and Istanbul – Osaka will now begin on 01JUL08.
EVA/UNI unveils Summer schedule to China
EVA Air (BR) and UNI Air (B7) today announced schedules to China from July to September. EVA Air will operate A330 while UNI Air operates MD90
