JAL 777-300ER to Hong Kong in July

JAL plans to operate Boeing 777-300ER on the Tokyo Narita – Hong Kong route, as JL731/732, on selected dates.

On 08JUL08, the configuration is F9J63W44Y156

From 29JUL08 to 31JUL08, the 777-300ER in operation will features the new First Suite and Business Class seating, P8J77W46Y115

Vietnam goes daily to Busan

From 01AUG08, Vietnam Airlines’ Ho Chi Minh – Busan flight will be increased from 5 weekly to Daily flight.

Service operates with Airbus A321.

DoT: AeroMexico applies San Francisco route

AeroMexico today applied to operate daily Mexico City – San Francisco flight with the DoT.

It intends to operate the route as early as 01AUG08 with 737-700. Docket Number 2008-0197-0001

AA announce additional cuts

American Airlines and American Eagle has announced additional schedule cuts.

Together with previously announced reductions on 27MAY08, American mainline will close 3 stations and Eagle closing 5.

American Airlines will be ceasing operations entirely to:
Oakland CA*
London Stansted, UK*
Barranquilla, Colombia

American Eagle will be closing the following stations:
Albany NY
Providence RI
Harrisburg PA
Samana, Dominican Republic*
San Luis Obispo CA

Maintenance base in San Luis Obispo will also be closed.
* indicates previously announced

Daily departure cuts in its primary hubs are the following:
Chicago – AA 28 Daily, American Eagle 34 Daily
St. Louis – AA 8 Daily, American Connection 35 Daily
Dallas – AA 19 Daily, American Eagle 23 Daily

At New York La Guardia, American will eliminate 5 mainline departures and 37 American Eagle Jet services
