Air China Cargo has applied 2 new routes with the CAAC last week.

As per 29SEP08 Amadeus timetable display, THAI is temporarily reducing Bangkok – Shanghai flight from 2 to 1 Daily.
TG662/663 will not be operating from 26OCT08 to 14DEC08.
TG662/663 starting 01FEB09 will see 2 weekly 777-300 operating while the rest is A330
THAI Beijing changes in Winter
As of 29SEP08 Amadeus Timetable, it appears that THAI plans to resume the 2nd Daily Bangkok – Beijing TG674/675 flight from 01FEB09, with A300.
TG614/615 in the Winter 08/09 season will see A340-600 operating 2-3 weekly flight while the rest operated by B747-400

Finnair has announced it plans to increase existing 4 weekly Tokyo service to Daily flight by 2010

Lufthansa’s Munich – Mumbai service will be increased to only 5 weekly instead of Daily this winter.
Original plan called for Daily mix of A330/340. The revised frequency is 5 weekly A340-300 (Day x36 from Munich)
QATAR delays Houston launch due Boeing strike
Due to Boeing machinist strike affecting the delays of its new Boeing 777s, QATAR is postponing the launch of Doha – Houston once again from December 2008 till 16FEB09, which it will start Daily flight instead of initial 3 weekly flight
JAL Cargo drops NY and reduce LA
JAL Cargo today has announced it is suspending Tokyo – New York route from January 2009 while consolidating Chicago and Los Angeles route.
Service to Los Angeles will be reduced from 6 to 5 weekly.
Also, planned delivery of 8th Boeing 747-400F will be deferred.

KLM eyes Hangzhou service
According to Chinese press, a team of KLM executives is in Hangzhou, China for talks regarding launching 2 weekly Amsterdam – Chengdu – Hangzhou route, as early as March 2009.
