Boeing strike force Ryanair to cancel flights
Due to the on-going machinist strike at Boeing, Ryanair has announced it is cancellation selected service out of Birmingham between 24OCT08 and 28OCT08. Service out of Dusseldorf Weeze is also affected, which cancellations occurring from 27OCT08 to 29OCT08.

Ryanair adds 2 more routes from Shannon
Ryanair last week announced the plan to base 6th 737 in Shannon, which will opens up new service to Frankfurt-Hahn and Newcastle.
It will also allows the airline to increase up to 26 weekly flights to destinations including Bristol, Edinburgh and Paris.
Ryanair expands Madrid hub next month
Ryanair yesterday announced the expansion of its Madrid hub, with additional 2 737-800 basing at the Spainish capital, which opens 4 new routes and additional frequencies on 3 existing services.

Air France has cancelled its codeshare with China Eastern Airlines on the Shanghai – Paris route for the ENTIRE winter season 2008/09
Air France 777 to Tahiti from April 2009
Air France’s Papeete service will see Boeing 777 replacing Airbus A340 from 01APR09.
Service operates 3 times a week instead of 4.
As a result, it’ll no longer operate A340 aircraft to Los Angeles
