China Airlines eyes Round-The-World Cargo flights
According to Taiwanese press, China Airlines is in preparation to launch Round-The-World Cargo service. The launch should be around the end of the year.
So far only few carriers including Korean Air Cargo, Singapore Airlines Cargo, Lufthansa Cargo, Air New Zealand Cargo….etc, offers such service.
The Taiwan-based carrier operated Round-The-World passenger service in the mid-80s.

DELTA goes 737 on LA – Liberia from Jan 09
DELTA’s weekly Los Angeles – Liberia is to be operated by 737-800 instead of 757 from 09JAN09.

As per Amadeus timetable display on 03OCT08, Garuda Indonesia is displaying 737-800 replacing the -400s on the Denpasar – Singapore route from 22DEC08, on GA846/847 only.
GA840/841 continues to be operated by 737-400

Dragonair increase capacity to Phuket
Dragonair on Amadeus timetable is displaying an increase of capacity of the Hong Kong – Phuket route from 26OCT08.
A321 is to operate 4 weekly (Day x345) from 26OCT08 to 31DEC08 and then 3 weekly (Day 126) from 01JAN09. The rest of the service is operated by A320
