British Airways from 26OCT08 to 28MAR09 is operating Boeing 777 aircraft instead of 747 on the London Heathrow – Nairobi route

British Airways on 16OCT08 has updated its 2009 Summer schedule to Toronto once again.
The 747/777 combo returns in June, replacing 767/777, as previously posted.

As per 16OCT08 Amadeus timetable update, Boeing 747-400 service re-appears on London Heathrow – Seattle service for the 2009 Summer timetable.
The 747-400 operates BA049/048 Daily service (previously 777), while the 777 operates BA053/052/1053/1052 6 weekly service.

CORRECTION: SIA Brisbane/Shanghai frequencies
There has been a conflicting information when accessing to KVS Availability tool this morning which leads to false information that SIA is reducing Brisbane and Shanghai frequencies.
There are NO REDUCTIONS for services to these cities. Those respective posts are being taken off.
The KVS Availability tool also has the access to Amadeus Timetable listing and other GDS features

CORRECTION: Korean Air to Tashkent
It appears that Korean Air was in the middle of the schedule change modification, which leads to its Seoul – Tashkent route displaying 4th weekly flight on Day 7 from 26OCT08.
As of 16OCT08 Amadeus timetable update, Korean Air will keep 3 weekly flights but will operate on Day 257 instead of Day 256 from 26OCT08

SIA to end 747 operation to Hong Kong
As per 16OCT08 Amadeus timetable update, Singapore Airlines plans to end Boeing 747 service on the Singapore – Hong Kong route.
From 12JAN09, SQ002/001 (onwards to San Francisco) is being replaced by 777-300ER (announced earlier)
SQ866/865 will see 747-400 replaced by 777-200 from 04FEB09
SIA keeps existing Seoul frequencies
As of 16OCT08 Amadeus timetable update, Singapore Airlines’ Singapore – Seoul frequencies is to be carried over in Winter season, a reverse from previously planned increase.
SQ608/609 was supposed to increase from 3/4 weekly to Daily.
Over all frequencies is 20 weekly
SIA reduce Bangalore frequencies
Singapore Airlines has reduced the 10 weekly Singapore – Bangalore (Bengaluru) route to Daily.
SQ500/501 Daytime service is being cancelled
