เที่ยวบินที่ ทีจี 795 เส้นทางลอส แองเจลิส–กรุงเทพฯ ของการบินไทย ทำการลงที่ท่าอากาศยานอู่ตะเภาแล้ว และบริษัทฯ ได้ดูแลอำนวยความสะดวกนำผู้โดยสารเข้ากรุงเทพฯ และจัดหาโรงแรมที่พักสำหรับผู้โดยสารที่ต่อเครื่อง สืบเนื่องจากบริษัท ท่าอากาศยานไทย จำกัด (มหาชน) ได้สั่งปิดท่าอากาศยานสุวรรณภูมิและท่าอากาศยานดอนเมือง จนถึงวันพฤหัสบดีที่ 27 พฤศจิกายน 2551 เวลา 18.00 น. ทำให้บริษัท การบินไทย จำกัด (มหาชน) มีความจำเป็นต้องยกเลิกเที่ยวบินทุกเที่ยวบินที่ ทำการบินขึ้น-ลง ณ ทั้ง2 ท่าอากาศยาน ตั้งแต่วันพฤหัสบดีที่ 27 พฤศจิกายน 2551 จนกว่าสนามบินจะสามารถเปิดให้ ฝ่ายสื่อสารวิสาหกิจและประชาสัมพันธ์ บริษัท การบินไทย จำกัด (มหาชน) ขอเรียนชี้แจงว่าขณะนี้เที่ยวบินของการบินไทยเที่ยวบินล่าสุด เที่ยวบินที่ ทีจี 795 เส้นทางลอสแองเจลิส-กรุงเทพฯ ได้ทำการบินลงที่ท่าอากาศยานอู่ตะเภาแล้วเมื่อเวลาประมาณ 07.00 น. ของวันนี้ ( 27 พ.ย. 51) โดยมีผู้โดยสารจำนวน 126 คน โดยบริษัทฯ ได้ดูแลอำนวยความสะดวกอย่างดีที่สุด ซึ่งเมื่อผ่านขั้นตอนต่างๆ ของการตรวจคนเข้าเมืองแล้ว บริษัทฯ ได้จัดรถและเจ้าหน้าที่ดูแลอำนวยความสะดวกนำผู้โดยสารที่จะต้องต่อเครื่อง (Transit) เข้าพักยังโรงแรมที่บริษัทฯ จัดให้ และได้นำผู้โดยสารอีกจำนวนหนึ่งซึ่งมีภูมิลำเนาอยู่ในประเทศไทย เดินทางมาที่สำนักงานใหญ่ การบินไทย ถนนวิภาวดีรังสิต เผื่อให้ญาติของผู้โดยสารเดินทางมารับได้สะดวกขึ้น คาดว่าจะถึงการบินไทย สำนักงานใหญ่ เวลาประมาณ 12.00 น. อย่างไรก็ตาม บริษัทฯ ขอความกรุณาให้ผู้โดยสารที่ได้สำรองที่นั่งไว้หรือประสงค์ที่จะเดินทาง โปรดติดตามข้อมูลข่าวสารของการบินไทยตามสื่อต่างๆ ที่เผยแพร่ออกไปเป็นระยะๆ สำหรับผู้โดยสารซึ่งต้องการสอบถามข้อมูลด้านบัตรโดยสารหรือสำรองที่นั่งหรือ เปลี่ยนแปลงการเดินทาง ติดต่อได้ที่หมายเลขโทรศัพท์ 02-356-1111 หรือสอบถามข้อมูลทั่วไป ติดต่อได้ที่หมายเลขโทรศัพท์ 02-545-4000 หรือ www.thaiairways.com |

Emirates 2nd Daily nonstop to Sydney
Due to Bangkok Airport closure, Emirates’ Dubai – Bangkok – Sydney – Auckland, is operating as Dubai – Sydney – Auckland, offering 2nd Daily nonstop between Dubai and Sydney on temporarily basis.
Service operates until 29NOV08 at the earliest
Meanwhile, Dubai – Bangkok – Hong Kong service is being cancelled for the time being
Lufthansa diversion to Phuket
From 27NOV08 to 30NOV08, Lufthansa’s service to Bangkok, is being re-routed to Phuket. Onward service to Ho Chi Minh and Kuala Lumpur has been cancelled

SAS cancel seasonal routes for Summer 2009
The Associated Press reports SAS Norge is cancelling 10 routes from Oslo to Southern Europe in the 2009 Summer timetable season.

Further Delay to AEROFLOT 330 long-haul inaugural
As per 28NOV08 Amadeus timetable display, AEROFLOT appears to be further postponing its A330 long-haul service.
Service to Tokyo is now further pushed back till 24DEC08, from 12DEC08.

Turkish 5 weekly to Baghdad in Winter 08/09
As per 28NOV08 Amadeus timetable display, Turkish Airlines is now operating 5 weekly Istanbul – Baghdad route.
Original plan was increase to Daily from 3 weekly, but the extra flights weren’t available for ticket sales.
In December 2008, service operates by Boeing 737-800 on Day x27.
From 06JAN09, Day 35 operates with A320 and Day 146 with 737-800
DELTA cancel Atlanta – Shannon summer service
As per availability display, DELTA’s Atlanta – Shannon summer service in 2009, will not be operating as all classes has been Zero’d out
SA Express CRJ700 to Lubumbashi planned in Dec 2008so
South African Express’ Johannesburg – Lubumbashi route as per 28NOV08 Amadeus timetable display, is displaying CRJ700 to enter service from 22DEC08.
Originally it was planned to enter service this month.
