Cayenne Airport Closure
Due to low fuel supplies, Cayenne Airport has closed. As a result, Air France has cancelled Paris Orly – Cayenne route since 29NOV08.
Flight should be resumed from 03DEC08
However, service on 02DEC08, Cayenne – Fort de France – Pointe-a-Pitre will remain in operation, to connect service to Paris
On 02DEC08, it’ll operate extra Cayenne – Pointe-a-Pitre service

QANTAS is to operate Airbus A330 aircraft on the Sydney – Jakarta route
As per 01DEC08 Amadeus timetable display, A330 operates on 20DEC08 and 03JAN09.
From 16JAN09, all 4 weekly will be operated by A330-300, replacing B767
Lufthansa A340-600 to Caracas
As per 01DEC08 Amadeus timetable display, Lufthansa plans to operate A340-600 aircraft on the Frankfurt – Caracas route from 29MAR09.
This should be the first time for Lufthansa to operate this aircraft type to the Venezuelan capital.
Service from 10MAY09 to 31MAY09, however, is operated by A340-300.

Lufthansa A340 to Calgary in Summer 09
As per 01DEC08 Amadeus timetable display, Lufthansa from 30MAR09 is to operate Airbus A340-300 aircraft on the Frankfurt – Calgary route, replacing A330-300.
Overall capacity will be increased as Star Alliance partner is also switching from 767 to A330 from May 2009.
