Emirates cancel Planned increase to Athens/LA/SF
This was first posted on FlyerTalk Emirates Forum on 28NOV08.
Due to the delay of 5th A380 delivery and the remaining effect of Boeing 777 delivery delay due strike last month, Emirates’ planned 2nd Daily to Athens, Daily to Los Angeles/San Francisco, are being cancelled.
These planned increase is now slated to begin from 29MAR09
Emirates cuts A380 frequency to Sydney/Auckland Feb/Mar 09
Due to the delay of the delivery of 5th Airbus A380, Emirates is reducing planned Daily A380 Dubai – Sydney – Auckland operation to 3 weekly.
A380 is still scheduled to operate starting 01FEB09, but will only operate on Day 357. Day 1246 from Dubai is operated by Boeing 777-200LR.
Norwegian to add 12 more routes in Denmark in 09
