Further to yesterday’s posting, JAL’s Osaka Kansai – Seoul Incheon route will see 737-800 operating on JL965/966 flight, from 29MAR09
ANA to drop Nagoya – Tianjin/Guangzhou
As per ANA’s inventory on 23JAN09, the Japanese Star Alliance carrier is no longer selling tickets on Nagoya – Guangzhou and Nagoya – Tianjin route.
It appears that ANA is cancelling these 2 routes from 29MAR09.
According to media reports, ANA recorded average 35% load factor on the Tianjin (73G) route in December, down 5% for the same period in Dec 2007. Guangzhou (320) route load factor sits at 45%, down 10%.
These 2 routes are known as “Toyota Express” as Toyota’s foreign plants in China are located in Tianjin and Guangzhou
Korean Air extra Vancouver flight in March 09
Korean Air is operating extra flight on Day 7 on the Seoul – Vancouver route from 01MAR09 to 28MAR09 with Boeing 777 aircraft
Air Canada to Moscow through bmi
Air Canada has received approval from Canadian Transport Agency to codeshare with bmi on the London – Moscow route.
No exact timetable is set for the new codeshare.
AC previously codeshares with Lufthansa to Russia, which is suspended.
Cathay HKG-LAX CX884/885 removed for 09/10
As per Cathay Pacific’s inventory display on 23JAN09, planned resumption of 3rd daily Hong Kong – Los Angeles, CX884/885, has been removed.
CX884/885 was briefly available for sale when the airline plans to resume from the launch of 2009/10 Winter timetable.

China Eastern to Tengchong
China Eastern Airlines has launched Kunming – Tengchong domestic service onboard Boeing 737-700.
Flight time is 50 minutes. In the past, the only option to get into this border city is by ground, which takes up to 8 hours from Kunming.
Korean Air plans 4th weekly Dubai flight
Amadeus timetable display on 23JAN09 is now showing Korean Air’s 3 weekly Seoul – Dubai service is increasing to 4 from 29MAR09.
