AEROFLOT Int’l Changes for 09 Summer
As per Amadeus and Sabre timetable display, changes to AEROFLOT’s 09 Summer International services are the following:
Moscow – Bangkok
Temporary suspension from 17MAY09 to 29JUL09. It plans to resume service from 30JUL09, 3 times a week with Ilyushin Il96
Moscow – Beijing
Planned 2 Daily A330 service from 01MAY09, is modified to just 1 Daily.

763 SU571/572 Daily
SU571/572 is now scheduled to receive A330 service from 25OCT09
*operates 6 weekly (Day x6) from 29MAR09 to 31MAY09
Moscow – Dubai
The 2nd Daily service, SU521/522, will not be kept during Summer 09
Moscow – Los Angeles
Planned aircraft change from 767-300 to new A330 retained, effective 01MAY09 till 24OCT09 for the time being, as the GDS shows 767 operating again from 25OCT09
Moscow – Mumbai
Planned increase from 3 to 6 weekly, not only shelved, but also SUSPENDED
Moscow – Seoul
Planned Boeing 767-300 service, replacing Ilyushin Il96, is now to begin from 29MAR09, the launch of Summer timetable season, instead of 01JUN09 as originally planned.
Frequency wise the Russian carrier is operating 3 weekly (Day 246) and is increase to only 5 weekly instead of previously planned 6, from 01JUN09.
Moscow – Shanghai
A330 aircraft service continues to operate beyond 01MAY09. Original plan was switching back to 767 from that date. However, slight operational change as follows:

As per GDS display, Air India is keeping Boeing 777-200ER service on the Delhi – Tokyo route during 2009 Summer timetable.

EVA Air to Kunming from Feb 09
Starting 06FEB09, EVA Air is starting Day 5 service on Taipei Taoyuan – Kunming route. However, ticket sales is only available through local travel agencies.

AIR FRANCE 777 replace planned 747 to Atlanta
AIR FRANCE’s planned Boeing 747-400 (replacing A340-300) operation on the Paris CDG – Atlanta route starting 04MAY09, has been shelved.
Instead it’ll be operating Boeing 777-200ER aircraft from 04MAY09 to 20SEP09. A340-300 is now scheduled to operate from 21SEP09 to 24OCT09, and will be operated by 777 once again from 25OCT09.
Planned flight number change to AF682/683 remains intact
ANA/AirDo expands codesharing
ANA and Hokkaido International Airlines (AirDo) from 01APR09 will be expanding codeshare service, covering the Niigata – Sapporo Chitose flight.
AirDo will be operating the service twice a day, carrying ANA’s “NH” flight number. When ANA operates its own seasonal service from 01JUN09 to 30SEP09, AirDo’s flight number will also appear on the flight.
With the new codesharing, all AirDo’s flight will be carrying ANA’s flight number
Seoul back on Emirates A380 list
Despite being temporarily removed from GDS and not yet updated, various media is reporting Emirates’ A380 aircraft is to be deployed on the Dubai – Seoul route from November 2009
