Gulf Air, as per GDS display on 09FEB09, is introducing Boeing 777-300ER aircraft on the Bahrain – London Heathrow route starting 02MAR09.
Initially the 777 operates on GF007/002.
From 01MAY09, it will be operating on GF005/007 from Bahrain and GF002/008 from Heathrow

As per China Airlines inventory display on 09FEB09, China Airlines has closed the sale of the first sector on the Taipei – Abu Dhabi – Vienna route from 01JUN09 and onward.
CI063/064′s TPE – AUH although is closed for sale, but TPE – VIE sector is still available for sale. It is still unclear on the possible changes of convering TPE – VIE to nonstop flight.

According to report from China’s Xinhua News Agency, Kunming Airlines will be launching operation on 15FEB09.
This Shenzhen Airlines’ subisidary will be using “KY”-prefixed flight code.
The first route, is Kunming – Changsha – Harbin, which is now on sale since 06FEB09. By the end of March, it’ll have 3 aircraft. By the end of this year, it plans to operate 10 aircraft and grow to about 30-40 by 2010. Like its name, it’ll be mainly focusing on China’s Yunnan Province but also trunk and secondary routes to the province.

From that date, Airbus A330-200 is operating on Day 234 service, while Boeing 777-300ER continues to operate Day 1567. Note that A330-200 does not feature First Class service

Japan and Netherlands has concluded new bilateral deal last week.
Tokyo Narita
Netherlands carrier can increase service by additional 5 weekly* from March 2010 at earliest.
However, should the Netherlands carrier decide to do so, similar rights for Japanese carriers should be identical.
*At least 4 of the 5 weekly flight MUST be operating under codesharing
Tokyo Haneda
Carriers from Japan and Netherlands has access to operate service as early as October 2010
However, service is only limited to 7 weekly only (2200 – 0600hrs slot in Tokyo Haneda)
