BA 777 replace 747 to Mauritius

As per GDS timetable display on 09FEB09, British Airways starting 07JUN09 is replacing Boeing 747 service with Boeing 777 on the London Heathrow – Mauritius route.

    Is it because there is not enough passengers on this route or is the 777 a better aircraft?
