SAS cancels Seattle after 40 years of service
In an internal letter sent to travel professionals, SAS said it’ll be cancelling Copenhagen – Seattle route after over 40 years of service.
Service suspends from the launch of 2009/10 Winter timetable. SAS says it’ll continue to maintain service from Chicago, Newark and Washington

Denpasar-Bali closure on 26/27MAR09 – Silent Day
Denpasar-Bali Airport will be closing for operation from 0000hrs on 26MAR09 to 0600hrs on 27MAR09 local time, in observance of “Silent Day”, a main event for the locals.
There will be no flights operating in and out of Denpasar during those hours, and shops/restaurants/government offices will also be closing.

China Eastern moving in Taipei
China Eastern Airlines since 06FEB09 has consolidated its Taipei charter operation at Taoyuan Airport.
The Shanghai Pu Dong – Taipei Sung Shan is being replaced by Shanghai Pu Dong – Taipei Taoyuan while the aircraft also swapped from A321 to A330.
Its Xian – Taipei Sung Shang service will also be moving to Xian – Taipei Taoyuan from 15FEB09
