The airline has launched 2 weekly Hong Kong – Jakarta – Ho Chi Minh – Hong Kong last month, and today starts doubling Hong Kong – Milan service from 3 to 6 weekly

Air China to suspend Karachi
As per inventory and availability display, as well as Amadeus timetable display on 12FEB09, Air China appears to be cancelling Beijing – Chengdu – Karachi route from 05JUN09.
Service will be kept 2 weekly from 29MAR09 when this routing replace Urumqi stop
NZ suspends Dunedin – Sydney
Air New Zealand has announced it’ll be suspending Dunedin – Sydney service from 16APR09 to 24OCT09
It’ll be keeping Dunedin – Brisbane service during this period

KLM shelves planned HKG increase
As per 12FEB09 GDS timetable display, KLM appears to have shelved planned increase on Amsterdam – Hong Kong route to 10 weekly.
Originally the plan was for 2009 Summer, but later postponed to 2009/10 Winter. However, this is shelved totally.

JAL Cargo to start codeshare with NCA
JAL Cargo and Nippon Cargo Airlines/NCA today has reached a codeshare deal which will go into effect from 29MAR09.
Initially, codeshare service covers Los Angeles and Chicago route. Eventually, subject to government approval, it will expand codeshare service to New York, Shanghai and Seoul. With the codesharing, JAL Cargo will be able to offer 27 routes with 75 weekly frequencies (increase from 70 weekly flights)

As per 12FEB09 Amadeus timetable display, SAS is cancelling Stockholm – Beijing route from 30APR09.
However, also per display, it appears that SAS may operate 1 weekly flight again from 17AUG09 to 19OCT09.
