As per 18FEB09 Amadeus timetable display and the inventory as well as Air India website, the following is Air India’s 2009 Summer season changes to Frankfurt and London operation, starting 29MAR09

With the change, Frankfurt / Chicago service sees Boeing 747-400 replacing 777-300ER, and originates from Delhi instead of Mumbai. The Mumbai – Frankfurt service from 29MAR09 will then extends to Newark, replacing service via London
The replacement of Mumbai – London – Newark marks the end of Air India’s London – New York service after nearly 54 years of service (originally began as London – New York JFK). Starting 29MAR09, London becomes 777 only destination with -300ER from Mumbai and Delhi and -200ER from Amritsar and extends to Toronto
Other changes noted previously on 13FEB09 are:

*3 weekly Amritsar – London Heathrow – Toronto service increases to Daily
Austrian temporarily reduction to Astana
Austrian has temporarily reduced Vienna – Astana service from 3 to 2 weekly.

Carpatair increase Timisoara – Bologna flight
Carpatair from 30MAR09 increases Timisoara – Bologna flight from 3 weekly (Day 246) to 5 weekly (Day x37)
