Air China applies Ekaterinburg service
Air China today issued an application with the CAAC seeking permission to operate 2 weekly Beijing – Ekaterinburg service.
It plans to operate the service as early as June 2009 with Boeing 767.
Ekaterinburg would be the airline’s 3rd destination in Russia.
EVA Air Cancel Osaka – Los Angeles route
Due to the recent sharp increase on number of confirmed cases of H1N1 flu virus in Japan, leading to a drop in bookings/demands, EVA Air starting 15JUN09 to 24OCT09 is CANCELLING 3 weekly Taipei – Osaka – Los Angeles route.
It should be take note that the number of new confirmed cases of the flu has slowed down for the last 3 days.
EVA Air Japan reductions Jun – Sep 09
Due to the recent hikes in number of cases of Swine Flu in Japan, leading to a drop of booking/demands, EVA Air has announced it’ll be reducing frequencies on the following routes.
Taipei – Fukuoka Reduced from 7 to 5 weekly (Day x36), 03JUN09 – 31AUG09
Taipei – Osaka Reduced from 10 to 7 weekly with cancellation of BR168/167, 16JUN09 – 24OCT09
Taipei – Nagoya Reduced from 5 (Day x36) to 3 weekly (Day 247), 08JUN09 – 28SEP09
Taipei – Sapporo Reduced from 7 to 5 weekly (Day x25), 05JUN09 – 23JUN09
AeroMexico reduce Barcelona
AeroMexico has already reduced Mexico City – Barcelona to 2 weekly since earlier this month. Service is operating with Boeing 767-300 on a nonstop basis
