As per GDS timetable display on 05JUN09, Cathay Pacific is planning to operate boeing 777-300 aircraft along with A330 on the Hong Kong – Bangkok – Karachi service for the 2009/10 Winter schedule.
The 773 operates on Day 15, 330 on Day 36 (Inbound from KHI and BKK operates the following day)
Lucky Air to Tengchong in Yunnan
Lucky Air, a member under Hainan Airlines Group, has started Kunming – Tengchong service. The intra-Yunnan Province service operates with 737-700 since 27MAY09. Schedule is the following:

Xinhua: Virgin Atlantic eyes Beijing; Shanghai – OZ link
According to Chinese state media Xinhua issued on 05JUN09, it reports that Virgin Atlantic Airways is planning to start London – Beijing service. The airline is also looking at operation between Shanghai and Australia within the next 18 months…..
The report quoting Virgin CEO Richard Branson that Virgin is enjoying high market shares on the Shanghai route, which grew from 2 weekly in 1999 to Daily since 2005.
Earlier this week, Branson told Japanese press that V Australia would also be looking service on the Japan – Australia route within the next 18 months.
Hainan Air applies service to Afghanistan and Vietnam
Hainan Airlines today issued an application with the CAAC, requesting for permission to operate the following service as early as July 2009.

Taiwan request 3 carriers to operate Taichung – Shanghai service
Taiwan’s Civil Aeronautics Administration has requested China Airlines, EVA Air and Transasia Airways to operate 1 weekly Taichung – Shanghai scheduled service on alternate basis.
Due to runway restriction, it is likely that China Airlines and EVA Air service will be operated by subsidiary carriers
