As per 1750PDT, they have updated the website and showing other aircraft doing test flights. So it is a mistake apparently.

Lufthansa reduce Samara service; ends Ufa from Jul 09

Lufthansa starting 01JUL09 will end its 3 weekly Frankfurt – Samara – Ufa service.

However, its 4 weekly terminator Frankfurt – Samara service will continue to operate. Overall frequency to Samara is reduced to 4 weekly from Daily.

QANTAS 767 Freighter to Auckland/Christchurch

QANTAS Freighter is starting a Trans-Tasman service on the Sydney – Auckland – Christchurch – Sydney route, using B767-200F leased from Air Transport Int’l (ATI)

First Flying launching passenger operation this month

First Flying Co, a Japanese carrier that mainly focuses on flight training and aerial photography, is taking over 2 9-seater BN2 Islander aircraft operated by Ryukyu Air Commuter (RAC) this month.

Korea – Japan new bilateral deal

Japan and Korea on Tuesday 09JUN09 held bilateral air service talk, and has concluded the following:

Korean carriers able to operate:
via Nagoya or Osaka to the US

Osaka/Nagoya – Guam and Osaka/Nagoya – Saipan up to 7 weekly (or 1 Daily)

Turkey – Japan new bilateral deal

Turkey and Japan has concluded a bilateral deal after 2-day talks ended this week. Details are the following:

Turkey
Turkish carrier is able to add 2 additional points in Japan, including Nagoya

Turkish carrier is able to fly up to 6 weekly to Tokyo Narita as early as from March 2010 (currently 4)

Turkish carrier is able to offer up to 21 weekly to Osaka, Nagoya…etc (currently 4 weekly to Osaka)

However, once Turkish carriers exercise these new flights, Japanese carriers shall receive equal opportunity if they wish to do so.
