As per GDS timetable display on 15JUN09, UNITED will be switching its codeshare flight number on service operated by TAM from UA4200 – 4299 to UA5200 – 5299.
The change goes into effect from 19JUL09. For instance, flight UA4254 (GRU – JFK) will become UA5254
DELTA NY – Mumbai schedule for W09/10
As previously reported, DELTA is shifting its Mumbai service from Atlanta to New York JFK from 25OCT09.

Emirates A380 now to enter Rome service from Dec 09
As per GDS timetable display on 15JUN09, Emirates is now showing Airbus A380 aircraft entering service on the Dubai – Rome service in December 2009.
Originally the airline planned to start A380 service from 01DEC09, but later pushed back to 01JAN10.
However, with the new change, A380 starting 02DEC09 is operating 4 times a week on Day x245, then increase to Daily from 01JAN10.
AA drops 3 domestic routes
American Airlines is progressively adjusting its domestic network as it will be further reducing its capacity this fall.

Note that flights marked ** are the flights in doubt as the A300 would require overnight at SDQ/GUA/SJU respectively and returns on following morning. Per GDS display, outbound flight from Miami on 24AUG09 is showing A300, which in theory the inbound flight on the following day, 25AUG09, would’ve also been A300 as well. Instead, these inbound flights are showing their new replacement aircraft. Whether this is an error or not is unknown for the time being.
For now, AA1908 is considered as the FINAL A300 commercial service with AA

As per GDS timetable display on 15JUN09, Lufthansa’s Frankfurt – Pune (India) service is switching from Airbus A319 to Boeing 737-800 starting 08JUL09.
The 737-800 is operated by PrivatAir with 56-seat Business class configuration
Lufthansa Italia Summer Reductions
Lufthansa Italia is reducing or suspending following service between 28JUN09 to 31AUG09, mainly due to summer school break and lower business traveler demands:
