QATAR moves forward freq increase to Rome & Madrid
As per GDS timetable display on 22JUN09, QATAR has moved forward its planned increase to Rome and Madrid by 1-3 months earlier than planned.
Flights to these destinations were planned to increase to Daily from 28MAR10. With the new changes, these flights will increase to Daily starting the following dates:

QANTAS temporary reduction on Perth – Tokyo
As per GDS timetable display on 22JUN09, QANTAS from starting today (22JUN09) is reducing Perth – Tokyo service from 3 to 2 weekly. Day 7 service is cancelled.
The reduction goes in effect until 25JUL09, for only 4 weeks.
EVA Air 747 to Macau Jul – Sep 09
EVA Air from 01JUL09 to 30SEP09 is operating Boeing 747-400PAX service on Taipei – Macau BR801/802 service, on Day 357.
This flight in particular currently operates with A330-200 and 777-300ER
Air Tahiti Nui flt nbr change to Auckland in W09/10
As per GDS timetable display on 22JUN09, 1 of 3 weekly Air Tahiti Nui’s Papeete – Auckland service is to operate under different flight number pair starting 25OCT09.

ArkeFly updates to Nepal in W09/10
ArkeFly has loaded its NEW 1 weekly Amsterdam – Kathmandu schedule in the GDS. Contrary to posting on 05JUN09, the updated schedule is the following

Service is operating with 737-800, not 767 as it was assumed in earlier post. The flight may require a fuel stop, which is not mentioned in the GDS, since a regular 737-800 won’t be able to make it for 11hr Eastbound and 14hr Westbound flight on nonstop basis.

China’s state media agency Xinhua reports that china Airlines is to launch Taipei – Changsha 2 weekly service with Boeing 737-800.
The service should launch around August 2009 as this is the month when all charter service between Taiwan and China becomes regular flights.
