Ethiopian Daily to N’Djamena
As per GDS timetable display on 15JUL09, Ethiopian Airlines has added 7th weekly service on the Addis Ababa – N’Djamena service.

Finnair 2010 Summer long-haul changes
As per GDS timetable display on 15JUL09, Finnair is displaying some changes on long-haul routes for 2010 Summer season. Changes involved in Asia. Details as follows:
Helsinki – Bangkok
1 Daily Airbus A340 service from 28MAR10, replacing planned MD11/A330 in Winter 09/10.
Helsinki – Mumbai
Currently schedule not displaying in 2010 Summer, assuming the Winter service in 09/10 season is seasonal
Helsinki – Nagoya
1 Daily A330-300 service from 28MAR10. Service operates 4 weekly in Summer 09
Helsinki – Seoul
1 Daily A330-300 service from 28MAR10. Service operates 4 weekly in Summer 09
Helsinki – Tokyo
Daily service from 28MAR10.
Unlike Summer 09, which sold as a mix of charter and scheduled flight, all Daily service will be scheduled service from 28MAR10. Airbus A330-300 will also operate along with A340.

Finnair A330 to Beijing from Dec 09
As per GDS timetable display on 15JUL09, Finnair to operate Airbus A330 aircraft on the Helsinki – Beijing route, replacing Airbus A340 starting 29NOV09.
Continental eyes Fiji launch in Dec 09
Continental Airlines is to start service on the Guam – Nadi route, as early as December 2009.
It is believed that the schedule would allow connection to/from Japan.
Tokyo Haneda – Beijing service begins 25OCT09
Japan’s Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism and China’s CAAC has reached new agreement that will see the launch of Tokyo Haneda – Beijing Scheduled charter service
Service to begin from 25OCT09, 4 Daily round-trip flights. Each side can operate 2 a day. And it is possible to operate during the daytime hour to/from Haneda
DELTA intra-Asia 09 Fall changes

Tokyo – Bangkok from 01SEP09 is switching from Airbus A330-200 back to Boeing 757 as originally planned
Tokyo – Hong Kong from 31AUG09 is switching from Boeing 747 back to Airbus A330 as originally planned

SIA restores Beijing frequencies in W09/10
As per GDS timetable display on 15JUL09, Singapore Airlines is restoring Singapore – Beijing service back to 21 weekly.
Existing SQ810/801 service, operating 3 times a week, returns to Daily service from 25OCT09
SIA A380 to Melbourne from 29SEP09
Starting 29SEP09, Singapore Airlines will begin Airbus A380 service on its Singapore – Melbourne route.
The A380 will operate on SQ227/228 flight, replacing existing Boeing 747-400 service. It will also continue to operate 1 Daily 777-300 and 1 Daily 777-300ER service.
