Kenya changes to Guangzhou and Hong Kong
As per GDS timetable display on 14AUG09, Kenya Airways is adjusting service to Guangzhou and Hong Kong from 25OCT09.
Day 1 service, originally to Hong Kong via Bangkok, will fly to Guangzhou instead. With the change, Hong Kong is reduced from 4 to 3 weekly while Guangzhou increase from 3 to 4 weekly.
Air NZ changes to Rarotonga/LA service in W09/10
As per GDS timetable display on 14AUG09, Air New Zealand has addjusted its planned aircraft operation on the Auckland – Rarotonga – Los Angeles route.
Planned Boeing 777 service, will still go ahead from 20DEC09 (19DEC09 from RAR), but operates until 10JAN10 only, for 3 weeks. Original plan was until the end of Feb 2010
ASIANA resumes Chongqing from Sep 09
As per GDS timetable display on 14AUG09, ASIANA from 17SEP09 resumes Seoul Incheon – Chongqing service with Airbus A320, operating twice a week.

Firefly postpone Malacca – Singapore svc
Per report, Firefly has postponed planned Malacca – Singapore, as the state government prefers to focus service to Indonesia, catering growing demand of medical tourists.
The service was scheduled to launch from 01SEP09
China Airlines A330 Taipei – Honolulu in W09/10
As per GDS timetable display on 14AUG09, China Airlines to continue operating Airbus A330-300 aircraft on its 2 weekly NONSTOP Taipei – Honolulu service for Winter 09/10 season.
Air Niugini 757 to Tokyo
As per GDS timetable display on 14AUG09, Air Niugini is operating Boeing 757 alongside with 767 on the Port Moresby – Tokyo route.

As per GDS timetable display on 14AUG09, THAI’s Daily Bangkok – Manila – Osaka service is to be operated by larger capacity Boeing 777-300 instead of -200, effective 25OCT09
SA Airlink to start Nelspruit – Livingstone
South African AIRLINK from 17AUG09 launches First international route from Nelspruit,South Africa. The First route is Livingstone in Zambia. Service operates 3 times a week with Jetstream J41

Virgin Blue to end UNITED codeshare service
Virgin Blue is to stop displaying UNITED’s “UA” code on its selected domestic routes towards the end of this year.
The two launched unilateral codeshare service since 2002.
airBaltic to launch Tallinn – Turku from Oct 09
As per GDS timetable display on 14AUG09, airBaltic from 01OCT09 launches Daily Tallinn – Turku service with Fokker 50. Outbound service originates from Riga.
