Air Canada launch Brussels service from Jun 2010

Air Canada in the last 20 minutes (as this post being published) has announced that it will be launching Toronto – Montreal – Brussels service, from 12JUN10.

Service to be operating year-round with Boeing 767-300ER. The new flights will allow passengers transferring to/from destinations served by future Star Alliance member brussels airlines.

As per GDS timetable display on 20AUG09, Garuda Indonesia has removed planned Daily Jakarta – Tokyo service, which was supposed to begin from 25OCT09.

Garuda keeps A330-200 to HK for Winter 09/10

As per GDS timetable display on 20AUG09, Garuda Indonesia’s Daily Jakarta – Hong Kong service will continue to be operated by the NEW Airbus A330-200 beyond 25OCT09, for 2009/10 Winter season.

THAI 2 Daily to Guangzhou from 15DEC09

As per GDS timetable display on 20AUG09, THAI is increasing Bangkok – Guangzhou service from 11 to 14 weekly from 15DEC09.

TG678/679 currently operates 3 weekly, but increase to 4 from 25OCT09, then Daily from 15DEC09.

Effective immediately until 31AUG09, THAI is operating Boeing 777-200ER aircraft on the Bangkok – Beijing route.

Service to return to Airbus A330-300 from 01SEP09. Boeing 747 service on this route has ended.

Air India Kuwait flight number changes

As per GDS timetable display on 20AUG09, Air India is switching “IC” code to “AI” code on flights to Kuwait by the end of September 2009.

Air India Winter 09/10 Int’l aircraft changes

As per GDS timetable display on 20AUG09, the following is Air India’s latest changes to 2009/10 Winter International aircraft operation:

Delhi – Paris 777-200LR replace A330-200
Delhi – Tokyo 777-200LR replace A330-200
Mumbai – Dubai 777-200ER operating (previously it was showing -300ER operating inbound flight)

Service to Jeddah and Riyadh sees 777-200 operating on most of the service from 25OCT09 to 31DEC09 only, then back to 747-400

Afrqiyah brings back planned Manila relaunch via Dubai

As per GDS timetable display on 20AUG09, Afriqiyah Airways is bringing back the planned launched NEW service to Manila.

Service begins from 11SEP09, and will route via Dubai this time, instead of Dhaka. Flights will operate 3 times a week, instead of 2 that it previously planned.

As per GDS timetable display on 20AUG09, Lufthansa is to operate Airbus A340-600 aircraft on the Frankfurt – Vancouver service between 14DEC09 and 20DEC09 for the pre-Christmas peak season.

Iran Air Beijing reductionin Sep 09

As per GDS timetable display on 20AUG09, Iran Air is temporary reducing Tehran – Beijing service from 2 to 1 weekly.

IR802/803 service on Day 5, is cancelled for the entire month of September 2009.

AEROFLOT W09/10 Domestic highlights

The following are the changes to AEROFLOT’s Domestic network for 2009/10 Winter season, as per 20AUG09 GDS timetable display.

Note by 25OCT09, the Russian carrier will be retiring all of its Soviet-built aircraft, including the remaining Tupolev Tu154 and Ilyushin Il-96 from scheduled passenger service.

Korean Air A330 to Hanoi in W09/10

Hawaiian/Korean Air codeshare from 01SEP09

Starting 01SEP09, Hawaiian Airlines will begin codeshare on Korean Air’s service on the Seoul – Honolulu route.

Eventually it’ll be placing its “HA” code on Korean Air’s service beyond Seoul. Codeshare list as follows:
