As per GDS timetable display on 04SEP09, Air China will launch 2 Daily Beijing – Tokyo Haneda service from 25OCT09.
Air China is the first carrier revealed its schedule on this route, after Japan and China agreed the the launch of this service few weeks ago. There will be no changes to the airlines’ service to Tokyo Narita for the time being.

China Airlines last minute schedule change to Beijing
China Airlines today announced another new schedule change to china service. This time, Taipei – Beijing route on weekends is affected. And this goes into effect on 05SEP09, just only 24 hours before flight departure, and the schedule change was made around 24-36 hours before the flight.

Japan and Korea expands service to Seoul Gimpo
Japan and Korea on Friday (04SEP09) agreed to expand service between Japan and Seoul Gimpo airport.
Nagoya Chubu – Seoul Gimpo NEW service is agreed, which will start as early as Oct 2009. Service to operate up to 4 Daily from each side.
Osaka Kansai – Seoul Gimpo Service Increase to 4 Daily from each side.
However, the increase comes into phases. From Oct 2009, each side can operate up to 3 Daily flights (currently 2 each side on KIX – GMP), then 4th Daily from March 2010
Lufthansa Resumes Port Harcourt; ups Abuja flight
Lufthansa in the 2009/10 Winter season will be relaunching service to Port Harcourt in Nigeria. The airline suspended the service due to airport upgrade but didn’t resume eventhough the project was completed.
Service is operating as Frankfurt – Abuja – Port Harcourt. Service to Abuja as a result increases from 3 weekly to Daily. However, current 3 weekly Frankfurt – Malabo – Abuja will be operating as Frankfurt – Abuja – Malabo instead.
