AeroMexico 767 to Vegas & NY in Dec/Jan
As per GDS timetable display on 18SEP09, AeroMexico is to operate Boeing 767-200 on the Mexico City – Las Vegas and Mexico City – New York JFK route in December 2009.

AeroMexico is to operate Boeing 777-200ER aircraft on the Mexico City – Toronto route in November, as per 18SEP09 GDS timetable display.
The 777 is to operate on Day 3 from 11NOV09 to 25NOV09
India and Saudi Arabia sign new bilateral deal
India and Saudi Arabia signed a new Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for expanded air service agreement.
The new agreement includes the following:
*Unlimited carriers to operate service between the two countries from each side
*Current 8500 seats per week with maximum 31 weekly flights, INCREASING to 20000 seats per week with maximum 75 weekly flights. However, Dammam is not included as there will be unlimited flights/capacity cap for Indian carrier
*Saudi carrier granted to fly to Bangalore, Calicut and Lucknow, which Saudi Arabian currently operates service under separate permission for Summer 09 season
*Indian carrier granted to fly to Medinah
*”Open Sky” agreement for Cargo service with full 3rd and 4th freedom traffic rights
TNT Airways launch Hong Kong service
TNT Airways on 17SEP09 launched its own service to Hong Kong. Service operates 3 times a week with Boeing 747-400 Freighter on the Liege – Hong Kong routing.

China Southern Airlines Cargo in Winter 2009/10 season is launching service to Frankfurt and Chicago.
It is to operate:

Air Canada keeps Toronto – Tokyo in Winter 09/10
Air Canada in the 2009/10 Winter season is maintaining nonstop Toronto – Tokyo service. The daily flight is operated by Boeing 777-200LR.
Service from Vancouver operates with 767-300ER.
Vietnam Airlines Melbourne increase
Vietnam Airlines starting 25OCT09 is increasing Ho Chi Minh – Melbourne service from 4 to 5 weekly.
The new frequency operates on Day 6 with slightly different schedule, as per 18SEP09 GDS timetbale and inventory display. However, inbound service schedule and availability is not available.

LANChile has consolidated its service to Punta Cana and Havana service 15AUG09.
It is currently operating Santiago de Chile – Punta Cana – Havana – Santiago de Chile 1 weekly service. This replace Santiago de Chile – Havana – Cancun route, which service to Cancun has been suspended. (Including the routing that sees the aircraft continues to Miami)

Air Caraibes to launch Port-au-Prince / St. Maarten – Paris
Air Caraibes starting 15DEC09 will launch new long-haul service from both Port-au-Prince and St. Maarten to Paris Orly.
The routing is Paris Orly – St. Maarten – Port-au-Prince – Paris Orly, 2 weekly with Airbus A330-200. It does not have local traffic rights on the St. Maarten – Port-au-Prince sector, however.

Surinam Airways Airbus A340 to enter service Nov 09
As per GDS timetable display on 18SEP09, Surinam Airways is introducing Airbus A340 aircraft to its sole long-haul service, Paramaribo – Amsterdam route, starting 25NOV09.
The A340-300 operates 3 times a week. It’s Boeing 747-300 will then be operating 1 weekly only on the same route.
Air Canada Vancouver – Hong Kong/London reduction
As per GDS timetable display on 18SEP09, Air Canada is reducing Vancouver – Hong Kong and planned increase on the Vancouver – London Heathrow in Winter 2009/10 season.

Service reduce from Daily to 5 weekly (Day x13 from Vancouver). The reduction period is 01NOV09 to 20DEC09 and 31DEC09 to 14FEB10.
