Transaero to start Austrian codesharing
Transaero from 25OCT09 will place its “UN” code on Austrian’s 1 of 3 Daily Vienna – Moscow Domodedovo service. Eventually Austrian will place its code on Transaero flight, but currently not loaded in the GDS.

Mandarin changes to Jeju operation
Mandarin Airlines appears to be operating Taipei – Jeju DAILY service during the week of 22NOV09 – 28NOV09 and 14FEB10 – 21FEB10 only. In Winter 2009/10, the airline operates 5 weekly flights with E190.

AeroMexico Shanghai relaunch possible in S10
Per GDS timetable display on 08OCT09, AeroMexico is showing service resumption on the Mexico City – Tijuana – Shanghai route, 2 weekly Boeing 777 flights. The resumption date set for 30MAR10. HOWEVER, it is unknown whether this is simply a defaulted schedule, despite it is bookable.

ASIANA maintains increased frequencies to HK / Singapore
Per GDS timetable display on 08OCT09, ASIANA AIRLINES is maintaining its increased frequencies on Seoul Incheon – Hong Kong and Seoul Incheon – Singapore service beyond 31DEC09.
Service to Hong Kong is 20 weekly. Service to Singapore, contrary to the previous post (see link above), is operating 10 weekly (OZ753/754 Day 157 ex-ICN), and increase to 11 weekly from 01JAN10 (Day x246 ex-ICN)
China Airlines Nov/Dec 09 Japan extra flights
Per GDS timetable display on 08OCT09, China Airlines is to operate extra service between Taiwan and Japan in November and December 2009. Planned operational dates and flights as follows:

Alitalia 4 New Routes from Turin from Dec 09
Alitalia from December 2009 is launching new routes out of Turin. It’ll be offering 4 weekly service to Amsterdam from 16DEC09, 2 weekly to Berlin Tegel from 17DEC09, 2 weekly to Istanbul from 15DEC09 and 2 weekly to Moscow Sheremetyevo from 19DEC09. By mid-January 2010, it’ll add 1 more weekly flight to each cities above.
