Kuwait all-777 to NY in W09

Per 16OCT09 GDS timetable display, Kuwait Airways’ service to New York JFK is operated by all Boeing 777 aircraft in Winter 2009/10 season.

Current 3 weekly Kuwait – London Heathrow – New York JFK, sees 777 replace A340, complementing 3 weekly nonstop Kuwait – New York JFK 777 service.

Finnair from 24OCT09 is cancelling 2 Daily Helsinki – Stuttgart service.  Flight currently operates with Finncomm Embraer ERJ145

Air New Zealand Vancouver Summer 10 operation

As per 16OCT09 GDS timetable display, Air New Zealand has minor adjustment to Auckland – Vancouver service in Northern 2010 Summer season.  The 3rd weekly flight during peak season, is operating on Thursdays instead of Fridays. Service operates with Boeing 777-200ER.

As per 16OCT09 GDS timetable display, planned V Australia Northern 2010 Summer season service to Los Angeles as follows:

Brisbane – Los Angeles 3 weekly (Day 135)

Melbourne – Los Angeles Changes to operational days and schedules for ex-MEL

Norwegian possible Year-round to Dubai

As per SABRE timetable display, Norwegian appears to be operating YEAR-ROUND instead of seasonal for Dubai service.

In Summer 2010 (eff 26MAR10), it is displaying 3 weekly Oslo – Dubai service, 3 weekly Stockholm – Dubai, and 1 weekly Copenhagen – Dubai, identical to Winter 2009/10 offering. HOWEVER, currently these flights are not on sale, which is putting this possible year-round service in doubt for now. Schedules as follows:

Alitalia’s INVENTORY display is still showing Day 5 service, and is still available for reservation for Summer 2010 season.

As per 16OCT09 GDS timetable display, Alitalia is to reduce Milan – Tokyo service from 3 to 2 weekly.  Day 5 service is being dropped for now from 28MAR10.

British Airways Reduce Accra capacity S10

As per GDS timetable display on 16OCT10, British Airways plans to reduce capacity on London Heathrow – Accra route in Summer 2010, which is effective 28MAR10.

Boeing 767 is to replace Boeing 777, which results in a loss of about 560 seats per week.

British Airways S10 capacity cut to India

Per GDS timetable display on 16OCT09, Aerosvit is cancelling service to Delhi, Toronto from 25OCT09.  It is also withdrawing planned resumption to Shanghai in China.
