Lufthansa Frankfurt S10 long-haul changes
As per 16OCT09 GDS timetable display, Lufthansa has adjusted selected long-haul routes out of Frankfurt in the 2010 Summer season. Affected routes and changes are the following:
A380 Lufthansa is due to receive First Airbus A380 sometimes during or prior to Summer 2010 season, but operating route is currently not yet assigned in the GDS
Frankfurt – Addis Ababa – Sana’a Increase from 4 to 5 weekly, A340-300
Frankfurt – Astana – Almaty Maintains 3 weekly (S09: 2 weekly, W09: 3 weekly)
Frankfurt – Baku – Ashgabat Service operates 3 instead of 4 weekly 28MAR10 – 15APR10 only
Frankfurt – Boston Summer Seasonal 2nd Daily LH420/421 begins 01MAY10
Frankfurt – Cairo Service returns to 2 Daily A340-300 (W09/10 Daily 346)
Frankfurt – Kuwait A340-600 replace A330-300 from 15APR10 (additional 75 seats per day)
Frankfurt – Los Angeles Summer Seasonal 2nd Daily LH450/451 begins 15MAY10
Frankfurt – Nizhniy Novgorod Increase from 4 to 5 weekly
Frankfurt – Orlando Daily A330-300 (S09 5 weekly)
Frankfurt – Toronto Capacity reduction A340-300 operates Day x1, -600 on Day 1. (S09 Daily 346)

What would Lufthansa’s plans be for FRA-CPT during Summer 2010, they would be stupid not to continue the seasonal service through summer 2010 as well. So far only extending it to 10 April.
