JAL reviews route suspension list: Report
Per Japanese media (47 News; 17OCT09) reports over the weekend, JAL apparently is re-examining its planned route cut list.
The report quotes the airline is likely to withdraw plan to cut the following routes:
Tokyo – New York JFK – Sao Paulo
Tokyo – Kaohsiung
Nagoya – Bangkok
Osaka Kansai – Bangkok
Osaka Kansai – Denpasar
The report says the decision to re-examine Sao Paulo in particular, is the possible travel growth led-by 2014 World Cup and 2016 Summer Olympics (in Rio de Janeiro)
