DELTA announce 2010 International Increases
DELTA today announced enhanced 2010 Summer schedule for International service. It plans to launch 8 NEW Routes, including nonstop Continental US service to Hong Kong. 3 Routes will see frequency increases while 2 routes from New York JFK sees Boeing 747-400 operating.

Singapore – Malaysia latest air service liberalization
Singapore and Malaysia has agreed for further liberalization of air traffic service between the 2 countries. 6 New Routes between Singapore and following Malaysian cities are: Alor Setar, Bintulu, Labuan, Kerteh, Kota Bahru and Sibu.
Carriers from each side will have rights to operate 28 weekly passenger service to each of the cities mentioned above.
Singaporean carriers also gains further access to 42 weekly flights each to Ipoh, Kota Kinabalu, Kuching and Langkawi, plus up to 28 weekly each to Kuantan, Luala Terrengganu, Malacca, Miri, Sandakan and Tawau. Malaysian carriers also receives same entitlements.
China Eastern Shanghai – HK reduction
China Eastern from 25OCT09 is reducing Shanghai Pu Dong – Hong Kong service from 8 to 7 Daily. All flights on this route has already switched to the smaller Airbus A319/320/321 aircraft. This route used to see large capacity A330/340 operating.
Lufthansa 3rd weekly to Astana; Kazakh changes
Lufthansa from 25OCT09 is increasing Astana service from 2 to 3 weekly. The routing is Frankfurt – Astana – Almaty. Current 5 weekly nonstop Frankfurt – Almaty will become 4 weekly.
Air China Taipei changes
Air China in the 2009/10 Winter season is making following adjustment for Taipei service. Changes in effect from 26OCT09.
Chengdu – Taipei reduce from 4 weekly (Day x135) to 3 weekly (Day 246)
Hangzhou – Taipei increase from 5 weekly (Day x24) to 6 weekly (Day x2)
Bangkok Airways cancel Phnom Penh – Siem Reap
Bangkok Airways starting 25OCT09 cancels its 3 Daily Phnom Penh – Siem Reap, the domestic Cambodian service.
Air Europa Daily Madrid – Miami by Jun 10
Air Europa is to increase its NEW Madrid – Miami service from 5 weekly to Daily from 16JUN10. The 5 weekly service launches from 19MAR10.
Myanmar Air Int’l launch Gaya; increase SE Asia
Myanmar Airways International in the 2009/10 Winter season is increasing frequencies and launching new service. From 25OCT09, 5 weekly Yangon – Bangkok will become Daily service. Service to Kuala Lumpur is to be increase from 4 to 5 weekly as well.
At the meantime, it’ll offer NEW 2 weekly Yangon – Gaya service. Schedules on these routes as follows:

ASIANA from 13NOV09 is to launch 2nd Daily Seoul Gimpo – Osaka Kansai service. Schedule as follows:

Air Namibia launch Lusaka; Johannesburg increase
Air Namibia from 25OCT09 is launching service to Lusaka, which routes via Johannesburg. It appears that the service operates Daily. Meanwhile, Windhoek – Johannesburg is increasing from 11 to 14 weekly. Schedule to each city as follows:
Air Mali launch Madrid & Marseille; Paris changes
Air Mali from 25OCT09 is launching Bamako – Madrid andBamako – Marseille service. These routes operates with MD87, 2 weekly each and continues on to Paris Orly. Nonstop service to Paris Orly, is cancelled in Winter 2009/10

Kuwait Airways launch Chittagong; A330 to Dhaka
Kuwait Airways from 31OCT09 is launching 2 weekly Dhaka – Chittagong service, its 2nd destination in Bangladesh. Service operates with Airbus A300. Meanwhile, it is consolidating flight times to Dhaka, which leased Airbus A330 is operating in November.
