DELTA shelves Atlanta – Stockholm
DELTA is cancelling Seasonal Atlanta – Stockholm service. Per DELTA inventory display, all flights from 28MAR10 are being Zero’d out. However, DELTA will continue service to Stockholm from New York JFK, when it launches the service from 27MAY10.
DELTA shelves Lyon
DELTA will cancel New York JFK – Lyon service once again in the Summer 2010 season. Service will not be operating. Originally service to be operated once again, 4 times a week
UNITED launch Chicago – Brussels in S10
UNITED from 28MAR10 launches Daily Chicago – Brussels service, complementing existing Daily Washington – Brussels route. The launch will also allow traffic feed from future Star Alliance partner brussels airlines.

UNITED launch Accra/Bahrain/Lagos in 2010
UNITED announced it will launch 2 new services in Summer 2010, which sees the airline entering service to Africa and expands presences in the Middle East.
*Daily Washington – Kuwait service from 18APR10 extends to Bahrain
*Daily Washington – Accra – Lagos 767 service eff 02MAY10
With the launch of African service, UNITED is to be the 2nd US carrier to operate service to all 6 continents.

Gulf Air 3rd Daily Bahrain – London in S10 on sale
Per GDS timetable display on 05NOV09, Gulf Air has re-opened the reservation of 3rd Daily Bahrain – London Heathrow service for Summer 2010 season. Previously the airline removed GF003/006, which was led to believe the airline is reducing service.
Emirates A380 Heathrow operation update
As per 05NOV09 GDS timetable display, Emirates’ planned 2nd Daily A380 service sees further adjustment.
EK003/004, which due to see A380 operating from 16JAN10 Daily, has changed to 4 times a week. A380 operates on Day x345. Service in Summer 2010 also sees same pattern.
JAL 2010 Domestic Route Cancellations
JAL announced it will be cancelling following Domestic routes in 2010. The latest adjustment sees cancellation of 8 routes, 13 daily departures. In total, it is cancelling 15 routes, including total withdraw from 2 destinations. For International Routes cancellation and reductions, see here
Jet Airways 777 to Brussels/Newark Nov – Jan
From 21NOV09 to 16JAN10, Jet Airways’ Mumbai – Brussels – Newark Daily service is to be operated by Boeing 777-300ER, instead of Airbus A330.
DELTA Istanbul Summer 10 changes
Per GDS timetable display on 05NOV09, DELTA from 01MAY10 is operating Boeing 767-400ER aircraft on New York JFK – Istanbul route. Meanwhile, in Summer 2010 season, it appears that the airline is operating 5 weekly (Day x46) instead of Daily.
