ANA launches “Inspiration of Japan”; NY debut Feb 10

ANA on 10NOV09 announced brand new cabin service improvement, which will debut on the Tokyo Narita – New York JFK service from 20FEB10 onboard Boeing 777-300ER. Service operates every other day. This will be expanded to Frankfurt and London in First half of FY2010. The rest by FY2011.
The new 777-300ER is configured as P8J68W24Y112. It will also be the first airline of the world to install bidet-toilets for First and Business Class.
The new service is part of the airlines’ brand revamp, which to be called “Inspiration of Japan”. Full details can be found here.

*First Class Private Suite (ANA First Square)
*Enlarged Business Class seats (ANA Business Staggered, 1-2-1 configuration)
*World’s largest seat pitch on Premium Economy (42″) and Economy (34″)
*Fixed-back shell seat in Economy Class
*First Class lounge upgrade to “ANA Suite Lounge” at Tokyo Narita, launching Feb 2010
*In-seat meal touch-screen orders launching April 2010 for First and Business Class
*First Airline in the world to feature bidet-toilet (warm water “washlets” ) in First/Business Class washroom
*New “ANA Suite Check-In” at Tokyo Narita Airport for First Class and ANA Diamond service member, launching October 2010
It’s about time they started installing Bidets in airplanes! But they should do all bathrooms not just first class.
