AIRLINE ROUTE UPDATES

As per GDS timetable and inventory display on 11NOV09, the following is Korean Air’s planned 2010 Summer operation. Note these are initial changes so further changes expected. There are flight increases planned to Atlanta, Honolulu, Los Angeles and San Francisco.  Boeing 747 is replacing Boeing 777 on selected routes as well.

Highlights as follows:
Seoul – Atlanta increase from 7 to 10 weekly from 02AUG10
Seoul – Dallas Boeing 747-400 operating instead of 777 from 03AUG10
Seoul – Honolulu Service increase from 7 to 10 weekly from 02SEP10
Seoul – Las Vegas contrary to a post claiming the suspension on airliners.net, service is continuing and operates with 747 as usual during Summer
Seoul – Los Angeles Once again service on the nonstop sector increase from 17 to 20 weekly, 01AUG10 to 22AUG10
Seoul – San Francisco Boeing 747-400 operating instead of 777 from 30MAY10. Frequency increase from 4 to 6 weekly (Day x1)
Seoul – Vancouver Boeing 747-400 operating instead of 777 from 01JUL10. (747 to YVR also in S09)

Boeing 777-300ER aircraft currently planned:
Seoul – Los Angeles KE011/012 Day 357 (Day 146 from LAX)
Seoul – New York JFK KE081/082

Service to following remains unchanged:
Chicago Daily 747-400
New York JFK 2 Daily
Seattle 5 weekly 777-200
Toronto Daily 777-200
Washington Daily 777-200

On Seoul – Tokyo – Los Angeles, service operates version 3 configuration of 777-200ER.
