Austrian axe Saudi Arabia service
As per GDS timetable display on 13NOV09, Austrian is canceling 3 weekly Vienna – Riyadh – Jeddah service. Last flight operating on 18DEC09 from Vienna.
With the cancelation, there will be no direct air traffic service between Austria and Saudi Arabia as Saudi Arabian Airlines is also canceling Vienna service which last flight departs on 30DEC09.
1999/2000: Air Maldives Network
The following is Air Maldives’ (IATA Code: L6) operation during 1999/2000 Winter season. The airline operated with Airbus A310 aircraft on long-haul service to boost tourism in The Maldives. Taiwan / UK concludes bilateral air service revision
Taiwan and the UK on 12NOV09 has finalized the revision of bilateral air service deal. The last deal was signed in 1992. Highlights are:

Korean Air Summer 10 Guam operations
Per 13NOV09 GDS timetable display, Korean Air’s 2010 Summer operation to Guam is the following. For the first time, Boeing 747-400 is being assigned on the Seoul – Osaka – Guam service
Korean Air plans 777-300ER to Nagoya S10
As per 13NOV09 GDS timetable display, Korean Air is assigning Boeing 777-300ER aircraft on the Seoul Incheon – Nagoya service from 02JUL10, on KE751/752.

THAI plans one-time A340-600 to Athens
As per 13NOV09 GDS timetable display, THAI is scheduling Airbus A340-600 aircraft to operate Bangkok – Athens service on 04JAN10, one-time only.
THAI changes to Mumbai operation
As per 13NOV09 GDS timetable display, THAI has reversed its plan to operate 13 weekly Boeing 747 service on the Bangkok – Mumbai route.
Frequency-wise service is operating 11 weekly. By December 2009, TG339/340 operates 4 weekly A330-300 (A300 in November) and TG317/318 with Daily 777-200.
