Horizon to launch 2 new Spokane routes
Horizon Air starting 26MAR10 is launching new service out of Spokane. It will operate 1 Daily Spokane – Sacramento – San Jose CA – Spokane and 1 Daily in reverse direction.

UPDATE: Finnair resume service 18NOV09
AS OF 2000GMT 17NOV09, Finnair announced it will RESUME SELECTED SCHEDULED SERVICE FROM 18NOV09. The airline hopes to operate all flights by the end of the week as the pilot strike ends.

As of 1620GMT 17NOV09, Finnair continue to suspend entire operation, including Leisure flights, on Wednesday 18NOV09.

Spirit launches Armenia Colombia service
Spirit Airlines last Friday (13NOV09) launched 2 weekly Ft. Lauderdale – Armenia service. Armenia is the airlines’ 4th destination in Colombia.

Royal Air Maroc shelves Dubai launch
As per GDS timetable display on 17NOV09, it appears that Royal Air Maroc did not go ahead with its planned 2 weekly Casablanca – Dubai service. However it is continuing to offer this route through codesharing with Emirates.
LAN to Florianopolis
Per GDS timetable display on 17NOV09, LANArgentina is starting 2 weekly Cordoba – Florianopolis from 02JAN10 and 1 weekly Buenos Aires – Florianopolis from 03JAN10.
LANChile meanwhile from 18JAN10 resumes seasonal 2 weekly Santiago de Chile – Florianopolis service (Note it will also operate service on 23DEC09). All of these service to the Brazilian city operates until 28FEB10.

Sichuan Airlines on Monday 16NOV09 ended its Chengdu – Chongqing service due to heavy competition from the high speed rail, which was introduced between the two cities in late-September.

airBaltic in Winter 2009/10 season is offering 5 new routes out of Vilnius. It plans to operate 3 weekly to Paris CDG from 18DEC09, 4 weekly to Munich from 19DEC09, 3 weekly to Berlin Tegel from 21DEC09, 6 weekly to Amsterdam from 04JAN10, and 3 weekly to Rome from 11JAN10.
