Air Canada launch 3 weekly Calgary – Tokyo from 27MAR10

As expected, Air Canada today announced it’ll launch 3 weekly Calgary – Tokyo Narita service from 27MAR10.  Reservation this route is now available.

Contrary to the press release, the potential prospect of a Daily service is slim due to the Star carrier only receives 15 weekly slots at Narita (extra 2 appears to be granted on case-by-case) from March 2010, unless it moves 7 weekly slots to Tokyo Haneda.  (Info here)
